We rocked it – our Milestones!

The Erasmus+ project, which started in 2024 may be drawing to a close today, but there is plenty to be proud of looking back

Therefore we want to celebrate our milestones with you! Here you can find a summary of all our project achievments, results and work that we accomplished over the last three years.

As an innovative project co-funded by the Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnerships program, ROCKET strived to raise awareness and visibility on issues of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in and outside of Virtual Exchange opportunities. The initiative comprised by the Universities of Göttingen, Groningen and Uppsala developed a working concept for Critical Virtual Exchange which implemented Role-Playing Games and Conflict Transformation and created a large variety of learning materials and  educational activities for students, lecturers and admin staff. These novel modes of online interaction helped all target groups to take on new perspectives and gain a deeper understanding of issues relating to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.  During our three outreach conferences, we explored these issues more deeply and connected to a wider audience, including a variety of experts from universities across Europe. All of ROCKET’s activities have been deeply inspired by a co-creative approach which brought together actors and stakeholders from across our partner universities and beyond. We would therefore like to send our sincere gratitude to all members of our project team, advisory board, co-creation roundtables, but also to all participants of our ROCKET events – your perspectives contributed to the projects’ success!

Even though, the initiative comes to a close, our materials and resources have been converted into Open Educational Resources (OER) to make a sustainable impact to Higher Education and other educational contexts. These OER include, among others:

  • Learning materials and guidelines which highlight Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and can be implemented into your teaching context
  • Handbook to implementing more equitable learning opportunities through Critical Virtual Exchange
  • A diverse set of Role-Playing Scenarios from the perspective of (1) students and (2) admin-staff
  • A set of videos with contributions to all of our project concepts or talks from previous conferences
  • Three comprehensive online trainings in a Critical Virtual Exchange format which are available as Common Cartridge: Student Training, Admin Staff Training and Teacher Training.

Go ahead and have a look!

Sincerely, The ROCKET team
