The pilot for ROCKET’s Critical Virtual Exchange for teachers has successfully taken place.
The ROCKET team is pleased to announce that the pilot of the project’s Critical Virtual Exchange for teachers has successfully taken place. The project team was initially joined by eighteen participants who together explored the topics of critical virtual exchange (CVE), diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), conflict transformation (CT), and role-playing games (RPGs). The course took place in a CVE format and comprised synchronous and asynchronous activities. Although sadly not all the participants were able to complete the course, the team would like to thank everyone for their interest and for the valuable discussions which took place.
We excitedly look ahead to the next iterations of this virtual exchange, for which we cordially invite all ENLIGHT partners to attend. In the extended course, teachers will be given tools on how to implement the four elements (CVE, DEI, CT, and RPGs) into their courses, with ample opportunities to practice. Coordinated by the University of Groningen, the next training is scheduled to take place in September and October this year. Stay tuned!
